Welcome to Our Life Financial, a blog sharing money tips, tricks and ideas that we have picked up along the way to Financial Independence Retire Early. My name is Mel (the voice behind OLF) and I stopped working the 9-5 in 2019 at the age of 49. My husband (we’ll call him Hubs) is winding down his work commitments in preparation for early retirement as well. Our blog describes our investing philosophy, where we choose to park our money, and how we have been able to build a net worth in the millions. We are living proof that FIRE is possible if you practise money mindfulness and concentrate on building multiple streams of income.
