Plutus Awards Partner Profile: Fidelity

FinCon15 marks the fourth year that Fidelity has been involved with the conference and this is also the second year that Fidelity has been a sponsor of the Plutus Awards. With continued support and involvement, Fidelity demonstrates its dedication to learn, share and collaborate with the financial blogger community.

“Fidelity looks forward to engaging with personal finance bloggers at FinCon and the Plutus Awards, and these events prove to be an ideal time to join influencers in conversations that help to spark financial wellness,” says John Sweeney, executive vice president of Retirement and Investing Strategies at Fidelity. “We’re all invested in making financial education and guidance broadly accessible so that individuals are empowered to take control of their financial futures.”

Fidelity also conducts extensive research to analyze financial trends, behaviors and attitudes that help inform and prepare consumers. This year, Fidelity introduced its Money FIT Women Study, which found that women are increasingly focused on getting more engaged in their finances. Other recent studies include the Millennial Money Study and the Intra-Family Generational Finance Study.

Fidelity serves a wide customer base, including 24 million people investing their own savings. We’re pleased to play a role in helping individuals, families and employers make more informed financial decisions and be in a better position to reach their respective goals,” says Sweeney.
