Introducing Plutus Voices: Issues Facing Financial Media

We’re thrilled to announce the debut of our newest project, Plutus Voices!

A joint venture with the Plutus Awards, Plutus Voices combines the fun of the Awards with the support of the Foundation. The goal is connecting members of the personal finance media in an informal setting to facilitate communication, education, and promote financial literacy.

These events feature speakers, both well-known and up-and-coming, and include open and small group discussions. Attendees network and discuss issues facing the personal finance media including meeting audiences where they are, refining messages, and maximizing impact.

Anyone is welcome to attend these events–bloggers, podcasters, teachers, community organizers. If you’re interested in advocating for financial literacy and education, there’s a place for you. Diversity is a pillar of Plutus Voices.

We are organizing a multi-city tour for 2019. However, due to an incredible initial response from people within our community, we’re starting earlier than planned.

On November 14, we are hosting our first preview event of the Plutus Voices 2019 series of events on the Upper East Side in New York City. tickets are available but space is limited. A second preview event is planned for December with details to be announced. Make sure you follow the Foundation on Twitter and subscribe to our newsletter to be first to get that information.

If you’d like to get involved, co-host or sponsor an event in your city, or speak at one of the events, please contact us.
