The Plutus Awards team highlights the best in financial media every week in the Plutus Awards Showcase. To submit an item you’ve written, created, or found for next week’s feature, follow us on Twitter.
Spring is here and that means it’s time to spring clean our finances (as best we can given the situation). Each author we’re highlighting this week offers a fresh perspective on what it means to take care of your finances and shape up your wallet. If you’re looking for more advice, we’re also highlighting our community many times a week throughout our social channels with Facebook Lives, Instagram Takeovers, and shout outs on Twitter. Follow @PlutusAwards and @PlutusFound for the most up to date information and toss your name into the ring by emailing us at [email protected]. We also have applications open for the Plutus Panel! The Plutus Awards Panel is a team of about sixty bloggers, podcasters, video producers, and authors with experience and expertise in writing and speaking about personal finance and related topics on the internet. This team helps the Awards executive team determine changes to the categories of awards and select the finalists and winners from the large pool of submissions and nominations.
Every year, we invite everyone within the community to apply for a position on the Plutus Awards Panel. Serving on the Panel doesn’t require a lot of time, but it helps sets the course for the Awards, and keeps panelists involved in interesting discussions designed to move the community forward. It is also a great way to make sure that subcommunities and “niches” have accurate representation in this year’s awards ceremony.
