The Plutus Awards Panel is crucial in determining the course of the Plutus Awards every year. The Panel consists of bloggers, podcasters, authors, and other members of the financial media who are deeply involved with the community and have insight to share.
The first task of the Panel is to help determine the categories of this year’s Plutus Awards. We make some small adjustments to the list of categories every year to reflect the changing nature of the financial media community.
For example, there may be an increasing amount and quality of content centered around the concept of early retirement, and the Panel may choose to highlight top quality media by adding a category.
Later this season, the Panel will play an important role in determining the finalists and the eventual winner in each category.
The best way to make sure your voice is heard and your subcommunity is represented is to serve on the Panel. It’s not too late! While we are getting started with discussions within days, you can still submit your application to serve.
