The Plutus Foundation is excited to announce that Joe Saul-Sehy is set to host the 11th Annual Plutus Awards. Joe is a long-time supporter of the Plutus Awards and the Plutus Foundation, and it’s exciting that he will be bringing his talent to the Plutus Awards. As a host of the popular Stacking Benjamins and Money with Friends podcasts, Joe brings his unique sense of humor and enthusiasm.
I was thrilled to be chosen as this year’s host. In fact, mom cried when she heard the news (I think she’s sure this is the push it will take to get us out of the basement…but that’s because I haven’t shared the “lack of paycheck” aspect of this gig yet). I’m not complaining, though. Less for me means more money for the Plutus Foundation, which is such a worthy cause. I’m excited to be involved with an organization that works hard to not just shine a spotlight on those people every year doing excellent work, but also an organization that helps expand financial literacy and inclusion. My goal is to help the Plutus team however I can to make the 11th Plutus Awards the most fun show yet. I can’t wait for everyone to see what we’re planning!
Planning for the Plutus Awards ceremony is moving forward, with contingency plans for a virtual event, should the COVID-19 pandemic make that necessary. The Plutus Foundation is partnering with Capital Group for the second year and the combination of a dynamic host and such a generous partner should make for a ceremony to remember — no matter where it’s held.
