The Post-Grad Prep Workshop, a program created by millennial transition coach Jennifer Jackson, informs and empowers students with practical financial and personal development skills needed before entering into the post-graduate phase of their life. The event is a day-long program consisting of five components where each student would participate in an interactive workshop hosted by a relevant industry professional.
The first Post-Grad Prep Workshop was held on November 9, 2018, with 42 students participating. During the catered event, students discussed issues facing them including budgeting and saving, student loans, entrepreneurship, and mental health. They were able to shop for work-ready clothes (for free!) at a pop-up shop and received a bag of ADLT101 swag.
Jennifer Jackson is a millennial transition coach and the founder of ADLT 101, now The Adulting Academy, a collection of lessons designed to help prepare young adults transition into life after school.
